Again like Refinitiv, IDC was bought by an exchange, in this case, ICE, for US$5.3 Billion in October 2015 from Silverlake and Pincus Warburg Interactive Data was re-branded to ICE Data Services and is a global supplier of market data, analytics, index and connectivity solutions •2014 prior to IDC takeover, ICE acquired SuperDerivatives for US$350 Million •2016 ICE purchases Securities Evaluations (SPSE/Bond pricing) and Credit Market Analysis (CMA) businesses from S&P Global ICE Data has pursued a strategy of bulking up its reference and evaluated pricing businesses as the core of its information services strategies
