PT Penilai Harga Efek Indonesia also known as Indonesia Bond Pricing Agency (IBPA) is a Securities Pricing Agency established under the Rule of Bapepam-LK Number V.C.3 It is a subsidiary of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), and the only official institution with a licence to provide such pricing It was established by Presidential decree to strengthen secure pricing in the advent of the Unit Trust (Mutual Funds) industry AUM dropping by 72% in 2005 IBPA evaluates and determines the fair market price of debt securities issued in Indonesia on a daily basis. IBPA’s fair market prices are used by the financial industry to reference debt securities transactions, asset valuations, auction prices, portfolio management, and audit risk.
