LMAX Exchange is a London based multilateral trading facility (MTF) for FX trading and was originally founded by Betfair. In 2012 management bought the company. LMAX Exchange provides low latency, order-driven execution venue for electronic trading of FX based on a global exchange infrastructure with matching engines in London, New York and Tokyo. Products covered include FX, Precious Metals, Equity Indices and Commodities. It operates an open order book, driven by market/limit orders against streaming, no 'last look' limit orders supplied by liquidity providers. Total FX trading volume across exchanges of US$3.5 Trillion, up 15% from 2018 Total spot crypto currency volume of $53 Billion, increase of 14X from 2018 In Nov 2019 LMAX started publishing Daily Volumes
