Morningstar Indices are based on back tested and rules-based methodologies supported by original research. Morningstar’s Indices are licensed for the following purposes: •To create investment products for funds and structured products. •Research and Benchmarking with 50+ attributes. •Asset Allocation Modelling for portfolio construction and risk exposure assessment During 2020 Morningstar is re-aligning its Global Equity Classification Structure (GECS) to match industry standards. This involves changes to existing indices, retirement of others and launch of new indices
